Process online monitoring is a vital and integral part of high-speed laser scribing process in which speed and quality are paramount. In this study, a multi-sensory platform for real-time monitoring of the ultrafast pulsed laser engraving process has been developed. Four different sensors have been examined from various perspectives and the results have been analyzed and compared. The real-time monitoring system developed for this study consisted of IPG ytterbium pulsed fiber laser, scan head, illumination system, and four monitoring sensors, including a spectrometer, pyrometer, infrared (IR) camera, and high-speed camera. Various experiments were performed to evaluate the performance of the designed platform by applying each sensor to monitor a high-speed laser scribing process in real-time. The output of each sensor was analyzed by changing different laser and process parameters, such as laser power, focal position, beam speed, and pulse length. Strengths, weaknesses, and challenges of using each monitoring tool for the laser engraving process were discussed based on the obtained results

In this paper, utilizing the technology of color laser marking of stainless steel in industrial productions is investigated from the perspective of repeatability and stability of produced color markings. The color laser marking has remarkable advantages over conventional metal coloring methods; however, in order to implement this technology in industry, the reliability, stability and quality of resulting markings must be endorsed. For this purpose, an AISI 304 color palette made up of fifteen colors was evolved. The dependence of produced colors on different laser processing parameters were analyzed. Afterward, the produced colors were tested utilizing optical, scanning electron and atomic force microscopy, and the configuration of oxide films was specified through Raman spectroscopy. The obtained colors had proper uniformity, brightness, and cover almost all spectral regions. Also, color standardization and palette repeatability test were performed by assessing and evaluating the reflectance spectra of the formed colors. The color palette demonstrated high repeatability for all colors except for one specific color. Moreover, the stability of color markings in terms of environmental, mechanical and chemical resistance was investigated. The resulting colors showed high resistance in most of the environmental conditions; however, exposure to very high temperatures and extreme humidity ( 100∘C , 90%) and low temperature and extreme humidity ( −40∘C , 90%) leads to deterioration of few colors. Color marks showed high hardness and excellent mechanical stability to external impacts and outstanding resistance to various chemicals, excluding acidic solutions and salts.</p

The objective of this study was to develop a novel real-time monitoring and control method for ultra-fast laser scribing processes utilizing spectrometer. Adjustment of laser process parameters such as laser power with high precision in real-time is critical in the laser engraving process due to the premium quality and speed requirements of the process. An online monitoring system was established using the Ocean Optics spectrometer, IPG ytterbium pulsed laser, and PXIe-8880 industrial computer. An algorithm for real-time control of the laser scribing process was developed based on the monitoring outcomes using LabVIEWⓇ software. Experimental methods were performed to evaluate the reliability of the developed monitoring system and control algorithm. The sensitivity of the spectrometer was assessed by changing laser power, pulse length, and focal point position. A workpiece consisting of two different metals, including stainless steel SS304L and steel S355, was used to evaluate the performance of the developed algorithm when scribing moved from one material to another. Instant accurate setting of the laser power based on the variations in intensities of metals from 750 AU to 1400 AU validated the reliability of the algorithm.</p

Real-Time Monitoring and Defect Detection of Laser Scribing Process of CIGS Solar Panels Utilizing Photodiodes

Laser scribing is developing rapidly in industrial applications as a method of material processing, especially in areas that require high levels of precision. This technology provides functionality and efficiency improvements in the manufacturing of solar panels. Due to the premium quality and speed requirements of the laser scribing technology, monitoring of this process in real-time is critical in order to promptly detect defects in the manufacturing process. However, common monitoring systems have been developed for other laser processes, like laser welding, which are noticeably slower than the laser scribing process. The goal of this research was to investigate the possibility of using photodiodes for real-time monitoring of the laser scribing process for Copper Indium Gallium Selenide (CIGS) solar panels. Various monitoring setup configurations were designed, developed, and examined to determine the viable option for implementation as a defect detection platform. Using different photodiode positions, the intensity of the light and the photodiode induced voltage for diffuse and specular reflections were tested, and the practical pros and cons of applying each configuration were analyzed. The capability of the monitoring system to distinct the different layers of the scribed CIGS cell was also examined to assess the penetration depth of the scribe. In addition, by performing several experiments with different scribe thicknesses and analyzing oscilloscope measurements, the optimal placement of the photodiode for accurate tracing of the scribing path was determined and verified. Key aspects of development of such monitoring system for solar panel applications were identified through this research.</p

Background: Pregnancy is a complex and vulnerable period that causes some challenges including the development of postpartum psychiatric disorders (PPDs) for women. Identifying the factors associated with these disorders can be effective in reducing maternal symptoms and supporting mother, child and family. The aim of this study was to identify the relationship between postpartum mental health and mediating social determinants of health in Iran. Methods: In this systematic review, the Persian and English observational studies in Iran were obtained through advanced search in online databases, such as PubMed, Scopus, EMBASE, SID, Magiran, Psycinfo, and Google Scholar search engine in the period of January 2005 to August 5, 2021 using the following keywords: social determinants, mediating factors, social support, mental health, risk factors, postpartum, Iran, and their English equivalents through Mesh. Articles were selected based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria and quality assessment of articles was performed using the standard Newcastle-Ottawa Scale (NOS).Results: Out of 42 eligible articles (total sample: 39216), 40 articles examined the relationship between postpartum depression and 2 articles studied the relationship of maternal grief with some mediating social determinants. In general, these factors were classified into five categories, including midwifery and pregnancy-related factors, psychosocial conditions, factors related to postpartum status, behavioral factors and material status or conditions, and health care. Conclusion: Mothers' mental health is affected by many underlying factors; Therefore, identifying the risk factors associated with mental disorders in this population based on the model of the WHO (World Health Organization), especially in the mediating area (Material and environmental conditions, Psychosocial, Behavioral factors, Health system) due to the extent of this area is very important

    No full text
Introduction: Nowadays, according to the variety of businesses for entrepreneurial nurses, they can have a tangible role in delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered, accessible, and economical care through their creative activities. The current study is a review study of entrepreneurial studies to review and summarize data in the field of entrepreneurship in nursing. Methods: In the current review study, articles in English relating to the aim of the study were searched and evaluated by using keywords related to “nurse” and “entrepreneurship” from 2000 to 2021 in various databases including Web of Science, PubMed, Factiva, EMBASE, Scopus and google scholar search engine. The search strategy was written based on Mesh terms and syntaxes specific to each database. Inclusion criteria were relating to the subject and having an accessible full text. The rest of the articles were excluded. Two researchers searched independently. After extracting articles, duplicates were excluded. Then an expert reviewed and categorized included studies. Results: Entrepreneurial nurses need personal, interpersonal, commercial, and strategic skills. They can work as social, business, and inter-organizational entrepreneurs. However; entrepreneurial nurses have been constantly facing numerous personal, sociocultural, academic, organizational, etc. obstacles. Therefore, there must be internal and external stimuli in order to motivate them to overcome these obstacles. Conclusion: Nurses have multiple needs in order to play they’re entrepreneurial role. Thus, it’s necessary to attempt to identify the obstacles and needs of entrepreneurial nurses and solve them to provide the necessary backgrounds for their creative activities so that they can meet the health needs of individuals and societies
